National Tour to Udaipur and Ranakpur

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
– Albert Einstein

DPGA’s CAS programme enables students to enhance their personal and interpersonal development by learning through experience.

With this in mind, CAS activities were planned during this year’s National tour to Udaipur and Ranakpur to help our IB students along their journey of discovery of self and others.

The CAS activities included a visit to a blind school, pot making, preparing meals and many more activities.

Our IB students went on a visit to meet the visually impaired students at Rajkiya Pragya Chakshu Uchch Madhyamik Blind School in Udaipur. Whether it was the singing of their school students or the thoughts they shared, every moment showed how happy and energetic they were. They made our students believe that no matter what challenges life throws upon them, they need to move ahead in life with faith.

For the next activity, our students tried their hands at the wonderful art of pottery at Shilpgram which is often described as therapeutic and relaxing. This beautiful art has surely taught them to be more patient and accept changes in life. They made pots and brought them back home as souvenirs.

Our students also got a chance to showcase their culinary skills. They cooked delicious dishes like pasta, noodles and paneer chilli. Cooking together with their friends has definitely helped them in their relationships from building skills to building curiosity. They not just shared their cooking knowledge and experiences but also made lifelong memories.

We can say that DPGA through their CAS activities have certainly helped the students see the world and review their lives from a new perspective.
